Lovely weekend

I went to my parentes for the weekend. Started of by driving to my horse to go for a ride on friday. Spent saturday studying, sunbathing and visiting my grandma. Sunday I went to my horse again and had a fab day!

I also had time to buy some ties for my project, looking at them you can never understand how anyone could have worn them as ties but they will fit my project very well! I buy them really cheap at a red cross second hand store.

So this week will be all about studying grammar for my exam next monday and cutting squares...

Next project

It's my friends sons first birthday in a month and my next project is a birthdaygift for him. Not sure if I'm going to have neither time nor enough fabric to complete it till then tho.

What I'm going to do is make cubes and use them to form the letters in his name. I'm going to attach them using Velcro. That way he can take them apart and build other things or just move them around between the letters.

The fabric I'm using is the same fabric as I make the cellphone cases from. It's kind of my favourite; the fabric from ties. It's quite hard to work with but I love it anyway...

I've started of making the cubes, or well at least cutting the squares to make the cubes... Only to make the first letter which is A it will take 10cubes and 60squares. At the moment I've got 48 or something like that...

What else is there to do?

To complete my "collection" made of the same fabric (and to solve the problem of having nothing to do) I made a new cellphone case for my phone. Not sure if there is something else I can sew to make the collection even more complete?

I'm starting to get good at making cellphone cases now, so if someone who's reading this is interested in having one; let me know!

I've got a new project to, I'll tell you more about it later...

Good week

This week has been a good week! Found out today that I've pass the exam I did last monday, so I'm more than happy! Another good thing about this week is that the sun has been shining almost constantly and yesterday we celebrated this with a night outside BBQ-ing and drinking beer. Good times!
Haven't done any sewing tho, not sure what my next project is going to be either. But I'm on to it and hopefully I will have something new to show you soon. Otherwise I'll put up pictures of some old projects...

Better

Today is monday, which means I've had my exam and it actually feels like I'm going to pass it!

I've also finished my clutchbag and it turned out pretty good! After having a lot of constructional difficulties and a lot of swearing I'm very pleased with it!

And also; the sun has been shining for 3days now and I've started to get a tan! Happy days!

Everything but...

It's been a week now and I've pretty much done nothing at all since then. I came back to my appartment monday night to be here and study for an exam on monday. But I've been totally unmotivated so at the moment I'm not sure if I'm going to pass or not...
I've done a little bit of sewing tho, not much but a little. Made another cellphone case since the one I made before was too short. Hopefully this one will fit; going to try it on next weekend...
I've also started on another bag, in the same fabric as before but a clutchbag this time. I'll show it when it's finished cause right now it's just pieces of fabric...
Time to hit the books again and see if I can learn something!

Busy
