Tidy

I made this little 'box' a while back. Wanted something to but my make-up things and scissors in. Might not be the most good looking thing I've crochet but it is very usefull and fills its purpose...

Back on track

I've had an awesome week so far. Stand-up comedy, my birthday with bowling and a crazy night out, a spontanious day with a friend, friends coming over with cake (twice) and on top of all this beautiful and warm weather!

No finished projects though. And you can forget about my secret project, it was nearly finished but when I attached the different pieces together it looked, um.. I think a good way of putting it is, not the way I have imagined it... But don't worry, I've already started on a new secret project with the very same yarn...
Meanwhile I'll show you a picture of what's outside my window...

...wouldn't mind sitting there myself but the garden is locked unfortunatelly.

Emptiness

Beyond the pier and the sea, so far away that earth has time to curve so we can't see it, is France. I don't know what is wrong with me but I long to be there or maybe beyond that. I don't know and I don't care, just as long as I'm not here and just as long as I'm not doing what I'm doing here. I want to go, I want to be somewhere else. I want to be lost in the world and still feel safe.

There is nothing wrong with being here really, I got everything well set up for me but that little gnawing feeling of wanting to be out there and beyond still bothers me. It kind of makes me want to cry.

Weather changes

Be patient, I'm working... The secret project is not far from finished and the spring shawl for my friend won't take that long to make.
Meanwhile I'll show you two photos of the same thing but they're oh so different...

5 for 4

Went past the yarn shop today. Was going to go inside anyway but in the shopwindow I saw that they had buy 5 for 4 of the yarn I maid my spring shawl from. My friend asked me to make her a spring shawl too so two of the balls will be used for that and the other 3 will be for an upcoming project... more secrets :)


The colours in the picture is nothing what they are like IRL but couldn't do anything about it...

Secret project

I'm improvising at the moment. My mum always says that I'm not good enough at knitting to make up my own patterns but right now I'm not listening to her. I'm making up my own pattern and the two pieces that are finished looks good to be! I'll show you when it's all put together, right now it's just a DIY for myself...

Spring is in the air

The last week has shown several signs of spring. The sun has been shining and warming our faces nearly everyday and spring flowers who will wait to show another month back home are here now. It's a good feeling...
