A little bit of luck

With clearblue sky and the sun shining, phonetics seemed even less interesting than ever. After baking bread (or waiting for the baking machine to do it), eating some of it and staring a little on the phonetics book, I went for a walk. Walked down to the beach, (the beach here has no sand, only stones) walking along there I thought "I could use some luck, it's really time for my badluck to turn". The next stone I lay my eyes on is a heart-shaped one, the only kind of stone I allow myself to collect nowadays...

I don't believe in god, but this must be a sign from above...

Mona Lisa

Just before I went to France in October last year, I bought myself a new camera and of course I had to make a case for it. Who could make a better subject than Mona Lisa? And who would like to wear her as a tie anyway?

Unfortunatelly has her face gone a bit dirty...

Back in the game

The last month has been a bit revolutionary for me. Packed as much as possible of my belongings and moved to Brighton, England. Lived in a hostel for two weeks, started uni over here, started to make new friends and tried to find a place to live. Gah, it's been exhausting! But now I got a place to live, new friends and I've got used to the thought of studying. But (yes another one) a woke up with a cold the other day and my brain has not been too reliable since. Feeling sorry for myself, I went down to ths shoppingstreet the same day and bought myself one of the best things in the world... yarn! While waiting to pay a packet of five crochethooks caught my eye, they were so irrisistible and not that expensive. What can I say except for that they are mine now :D

One down

They're all finished, the 8 candleholders. Four white and four green. Two different kind of patterns.

I'm very pleased with them, proud of myself for coming up with the idea and and managing to pull it of so well!

The beginning...

...of another never ending project...

Tomorrow is another day

I got a bit busy yesterday and then I forget I was going to show you my latest scarf...

So, to the scarf now. It was really easy to make, it would have been finished weeks ago if I haden't started to doubt on it. But this weekend I just desided to get at least one project out of the world... Found the pattern here and the yarn was bought on a fleamarket in Switzerland.

Restyled

Now I've finally got around to take new pictures of my old project. I think this is the most well sewn garment I've ever sewn. I love it but haven't worn it much. Maybe I should start now..?

Anyway, this was from the beginning my dad's shirt. He worn it alot so when I grabbed it the colour was really faded which I didn't realised until I had undone the brestpocket and saw the colour underneath...

I've also finished one of the scarves I've been working on, pictures coming up tomorrow...
